Does hair get darker/lighter with age?

I'm half white and half Japanese.

I was born with black hair and turned into a dark brunette and now that I'm in my late teens it almost looks as though I'm losing the brown and it's growing black again. Is it just my imagination, I could've sworn my hair was lighter just a couple of years ago.

I think it gets darker. I've noticed this in all my family .. brother, mom, dad, myself. I used to be a bleach blonde, and now i'm a brunette.

I think it gets darker. I was born dirty blond and now that I'm in my late teens I have very dark brown hair.
