My chihuahua has developed a case of lost hair spots on ears.?

This is bare spot on one ear and on the other ear it seems to be extending. What would the best cure for this type of problem?

I cannot say what is causing it, couldbe allergies. But a friend of mine, her boxer had that problem on her stomach. She tried diets, and meds and everything....then she tried Melaseb (sp?) It is a specialized shampoo, and she showed me before and after pics. All the pups hair is back!
