Does hair that you lose during a severe vitamin deficiency ever grow back?

If so when should you expect some regrowth?

Does hair that you lose during a severe vitamin deficiency ever grow back?

I lost a good deal of my hair when I lost a bunch of weight (130 lbs). That was almost 4 years ago. My hair is now in excellent condition but not nearly as thick as it was. My stylist says that it improves every time I go see her but still isn't like it was. I do believe that I will regain my hair but can not speculate as to when. I can only tell you that it can take a good long time. In the mean time, take very good care of what you have and have a stylist help you with a style that works with thinner hair. I have found that my hair actually styles easier now than it did when it was thicker so it opened up different styles that I was unable to achieve before I lost my hair.

Good luck!

I would think so....when people lose heir hir from chemo they ge their hair back right? I would expect to see that hair growing back once you're getting the right amount of vitamins.
