Curly hair help?

I have shoulder length naturally curly hair.. its really thick and some of the curls are big some some are small but my hair just tends to get poofy, and i've tried using gel but even if i get it to be stiff it always looses hold in the back. Whenever i try and dry my hair with a diffuser it seems to lose definition and get frizzier even if i direct all the air down. I can never get it really straight either, i try a straightning iron and i cant seem to get some curls out. I dont mind it curly but how can i get it to either have nice curls or waves and be soft and tame?

Curly hair help?

I am a haidresser. I have curly hair but also have it straight. The best products on the market is TIGI catwalk 'curls rock' for curly or TIGI 'control freak' for straight. Both come in 4 products. Best results if you use all 4. You have shampoo, con, then 2 styling products. With curls best ting to do is wash put on product and leave to dry naturally.

Curly hair help?

I have curly hair too - I use a product while it's still damp and then LEAVE IT ALONE. When it dries it will be curly. Try Paul Mitchell Lite Styling Creme.

Curly hair help?

try a curl definer and if you want to straighten it use serum or something. try frizz esse that dead good.

Should I stop wearing weave (hair extension?)?

ok so I use to wear my own hair out a few years back (I鈥檓 21 btw) it was pretty long to my back and full but I got bored so I started wearing braids eventually becoming completely addicted to weave on鈥︹€nd by weave I mean long jet black hair extensions鈥︹€︹€ want to now stop wearing it and get a hair cut but there are two problems

1.My hair looks soooooooooo good long and it looks completely natural when I have the extensions in; everyone thinks it鈥檚 my hair.

2.I have baby cheeks, so I鈥檓 not sure how my hair would look short鈥 was hoping to lose about 15 pounds by the summer and then getting it cut. But right now I鈥檓 about 5鈥? 130....and pretty athletic so it鈥檚 hard to get down to 115.

But something has to be done my real hair is to top of my back but its sooooooooo damaged. The reason I really want to stop also is I鈥檝e just been feeling a lot of judgment from people, talking about me and saying the only reason I鈥檓 guys are attracted to me is because I have long hair extensions鈥︹€?.

What should I do鈥︹€?should I just go for it and rock the cut now instead of waiting鈥?.I know this sounds shallow but I鈥檓 use to turning heads鈥鈥檓 afraid I might not turn any without it.

p.s please tell me you honest opinion in a civilized manner鈥ou don鈥檛 have to answer the question if you are going to be rude about it

Should I stop wearing weave (hair extension?)?

I think you should just do as you please.I don't think just hair can attract a man. It could also be your confidence that added to it.I myself used to have plaited/braid extensions, temporally for a year, but this was two years ago and yes I turned many heads. My hair now just touches my shoulders and I still get glances,I still feel comfortable with my hair as it is.The main thing is, if your confident about yourself, this will shine through no matter what hair style you have.

Should I stop wearing weave (hair extension?)?

if you want to cut your hair i think you should do it for yourself and not because you want to prove something to someone. you should cut it to a length that will look nice on you....with good care your hair will grow back. Many women look nice with short hairstyles.

Should I stop wearing weave (hair extension?)?

Screw what other people say if u like wearing extensions then do it, 4get the haters.

Professional, but still young looking hair cuts/styles?

I work in a professional setting and am looking for a new hair cut or style that will be acceptable in the workplace, but still look young and fresh. (I am 23 yrs old). I have sholder length basically strait (a little wavy) hair. I am willing to lose some length, but I dont want a really short cut. What do ya'll think?

Professional, but still young looking hair cuts/styles?

Check out the hair cuts on www.matrix.com

sephora.com has a beauty school section. The focus is on makeup but the models have nice hair cuts and you can get ideas for a totally pulled together look.

Allure %26amp; InStyle are good sources for hair ideas.

You might consider getting a few layers to give your hair some shape and to frame your face differently when you blow dry your hair straight.

If you are good with updos and low ponytails, then keep your hair as long as possible for maximum versatility.

Since you have wavy hair - stay away from short bangs. Too much styling commitment involved.

Professional, but still young looking hair cuts/styles?

sounds good

Professional, but still young looking hair cuts/styles?

I have the same issue, especially with clothes %26amp; hair. I have my hair dyed a chestnut brown, with a mix of blonde and caramel highlights, layered a little past my shoulders, the shortest layer starts where my nose is, these are angled layers.

Professional, but still young looking hair cuts/styles?

u didnt say if u have long or short neck--long narrow or round face these things affect how u will look in new hair style --go 2 your hair stylist look at her style books and have discussion with her about them

Professional, but still young looking hair cuts/styles?

may be a classic cut like just few inches shorter up to your shoulder and straight/ or depend on you face frame a shic layered hair... but you decide it.

Flat tops are sexy on trolley dolleys

New hair style????

ok so im getting my hair done tomorrow i dont want a colour because im happy with the colour(brownish blonde) but i want to try a new hair style my hair is quite long an dont wanna lose too much of it any ideas???

thanks 4 any suggestions xoxoxoxo

New hair style????

layers is probably the best for you if you don,t want to lose the length with layers there,s loads of different styles you can achieve

New hair style????

If you don't want to lose much length, get some long layers-it will give your hair some style %26amp; movement. You can try some bangs, too. Side bangs, blunt bangs, long bangs.

New hair style????

maybe some layers and bangs perhaps?

^_^

good luck!

New hair style????

i think what would do nice is a wispy fringe if you haven't already got one

How do you dye black hair?

Haha jut recently I tried dying my own head of hair, and nothing happened. I lost about 20 dollars on name brand hair stuff. Any suggestions?

How do you dye black hair?

you have to dye it blonde first.

then you dye it whatever color you want.

How do you dye black hair?

depending on what color you want to dye it, you need to leave it in longer. if the box says 20 minutes, try 30... you should see some change in the color.. if not leave it in. dont excede 40 minutes tho. if you really want a change, go to a salon and explain the problem, they will do a one color treatment for like 35- 40 bucks.

How do you dye black hair?

its difficult to dye black hair without damaging it coz for the colour 2 b noticed u have to bleach it 1st then dye. this will make ur hair too dry and brittle. u can do gradual colouring, meaning, lighten a shade lighter everytime u dye. it wont show at the beginning but with time u will b getting the lighter shade that u want

How do you dye black hair?

Either leave it in longer, heat process, or bleach it. I dyed my black hair red without any problems.

How do you dye black hair?

Try bleaching the hair first. The you can dye it. It worked for me. But it depends on ones hair too I guess

How do you dye black hair?

bummer!are u asking us give the directions?i usually have a pj party and we all do it.we always test it first did you do that? cut some hair and test it first so you can see how long it takes; some hair dont dye easy.you might have washed it to soon.good luck

How do you dye black hair?

Buy a lightening cream, you do not have to go blonde just lighten it till the strong dark color is gone, then put color on it, keep in mind the color is going to gram fast as your hair will be porous. Also roots are going to be hard to keep up if your hair is black, so do something manageable.

How do you dye black hair?

Assuming you want to go lighter....

Years ago, you would use a hair lightener which contained peroxide...which would basically bleach the hair first (not the bleach for fabrics type, however), and the hair would be a shade of blonde. Then you would dye the hair the color you want. (Note of caution: You may not want to use peroxide if your hair texture has been chemically altered, such as curly permed, straight permed, etc) Beauticians may have another way of priming hair for taking color. Clairol's Frost and Tip can add light to medium brown highlights to black or dark-colored hair.

Scence hair? Yes/No?

I recently lost 40lbs, and am trying to change my look- I recently cut my hair, I want to try extensions now that I have lost my weight; even though I am in a normal weight range now my cheeks are still chubby! ha! I was wondering if I would look good/decent with scene hair? Also, should I go back brown/stay with red/or try another color? Thanks!

You can still have extensions without scene hair.

My hair is very fine and thin and has gotten worse in the last 2 years. What can I do.Darlene?

I had a hysterectomy 2 years ago and since then I seem to be losing it more. Every time I wash my hair I see more in the sink.

What products or treatments are available. I'm on a limited income so I can't afford much. I am 60yrs old , does this come with age.

Darlene H

My hair is very fine and thin and has gotten worse in the last 2 years. What can I do.Darlene?

get it cut with layers in it.

it gives your hair much more volume and looks like you have thicker hair..

im sorry - i dont know about your hair falling out - there should be various shampoo/conditioners around to help!

Good Luck .

Hair falling out!!?

I have recently changed my diet to a healthier one, for example I drink a lot more water, more vegetables, and a lot of fruits. I also take vitamins each day and I have lost a little bit of weight. But for some reason my hair has been severely falling out and it has gotten me really worried! I don閳ユ獩 really know what to do, please help!

Hair falling out!!?

I would call a Dr. I have never heard of eating healthy causing hair to fall out.

Hair falling out!!?

Try natural solutions dear. US licensed, FDA approved and safe to use.

Hair falling out!!?

I would call a doctor it may have to do with the vitamins, excessive worrying may cause some hair loss, too. Is there female hair loss in your family?

Perfect hair that never damages?!?

My friend has perfect hair! She highlighted it, she curled it with a curling iron, everything, and its still the silkiest hair in the world! But when my hair is highlighted, its rough, when i curl it, it loses its moisture and becomes dry. How do I get hair like hers?!?!?!?!

Perfect hair that never damages?!?

her hair souunds like mine. I've gotten my hair highlighted more than 10 times and it's still smooth.

Perfect hair that never damages?!?

She has naturally healthy hair. No hair product could give results like that.

Edit: Well, yeah, my hair used to be soft too, but that's all young children. Their skin is soft, too, but it doesn't stay like that forever. Genes and exposure kick in and if you have dry, frizzy hair, it's because it's a family trait, like my hair.

Perfect hair that never damages?!?

shes just lucky , you can try anything and it wout happen :( some people just get that luck

Perfect hair that never damages?!?

yep its just natural. mine's like that too. ask her what shampoo she uses and try it out though, worth a shot. conditioner too. if highlighting gives your hair a new texture, its not being done right find a new hairdresser

Perfect hair that never damages?!?

u r probably not using a good shampoo maybe u should but vitaim d it works for me and my hair was like yours untill i started to use vitaim d try or get a highliht shampoo bottle

Perfect hair that never damages?!?

Having naturally healthy/good hair is probably part of it. Ask her how she takes care of it, but everyones hair is different. Using a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner helps and also getting it cut often helps keep it healthy. =)

Perfect hair that never damages?!?

What I do is 1/2 avacado and 1/2 banana whipped up and then left in hair with shower cap for 15 up to 1 hour then rinse and shampoo and condition really well and tada! (I do this once a week.) I also add a few drops of jojoba oil and vitamin E to my conditioner thruout the week. ( I use burts bees "shine" shampoo and conditioner. www.burtsbees.com)

Hope this helps!!!!

Ive recently dyed my hair turquoise / blue, any idea what colour lipstick would go?

im quite pale, but with loads of freckles. and wear black rimmed glasses, completely lost by what colour would go right with the hair, someone help!

Ive recently dyed my hair turquoise / blue, any idea what colour lipstick would go?

what is the counter color on the color wheel with turquoise? A reddish orange color. That sounds kind of odd, but you could go with a glossy that has a reddish orange hue to it without being with a weird colored lip stick. You can stick to the color palette and find a complimenting color like a plum/plum pink. A gold copper color would be hot too- one with red hues or a sugar gloss (one that has a micro glitter appearance). I would just experiment and find the color you like best :) The iridescent shade glosses could give a really neat look too.

Ive recently dyed my hair turquoise / blue, any idea what colour lipstick would go?

hot pink with lip gloss

Ive recently dyed my hair turquoise / blue, any idea what colour lipstick would go?

What the heck is wrong with you!?

Ive recently dyed my hair turquoise / blue, any idea what colour lipstick would go?

well first of all that is sooooo gross ! what an ugly color to dye your hair ! and DUH !!!!! just wear blue or turquoise lipstick ! but dont use real lipstick it haas the same stuff in it that they use to make ciggerettes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EWWWWWWWWWW!

Ive recently dyed my hair turquoise / blue, any idea what colour lipstick would go?

burts bees lip shimmer has a lot of good colors even for blue hair hahaha

Ive recently dyed my hair turquoise / blue, any idea what colour lipstick would go?

bubblegummy pink i think would go quite well.

my advice is just go to a cosmetic shop and try loads of different ones.

Ive recently dyed my hair turquoise / blue, any idea what colour lipstick would go?

when you have a bright color on the hair and pale skin...with freckles you should go with a soft color for your lips, that would work best.

Ive recently dyed my hair turquoise / blue, any idea what colour lipstick would go?

UH DUH .... turquoise

Ive recently dyed my hair turquoise / blue, any idea what colour lipstick would go?

A shimmery light pink

Ive recently dyed my hair turquoise / blue, any idea what colour lipstick would go?

anything from bright pink (like a hot pink or a lighter version of hot pink) to a soft shimmery pale pink. it depends on you mood.

Ive recently dyed my hair turquoise / blue, any idea what colour lipstick would go?

dark/bright red would look soooooo good!! ... ur hair must look HOTT lol!!!

Ive recently dyed my hair turquoise / blue, any idea what colour lipstick would go?

Something with a hint of purple, like a rich plum color.

Ive recently dyed my hair turquoise / blue, any idea what colour lipstick would go?

i would say red! I am good with color. I am an artist. Pink is too bright and might make you look washed out in too much color.

Ive recently dyed my hair turquoise / blue, any idea what colour lipstick would go?

any reddish, pink shimmer and you should post a pick of your hair i would love to see that!!!

Ive recently dyed my hair turquoise / blue, any idea what colour lipstick would go?

eww! who is the wrongest world will dye their har blue?! ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww... thats is soo gross! ew ew e w e we w w e we w e wew ewewewww...............!!!!!!!!!! gross nasty eww!

How can I remove dead hair from a Gordon Setter?

I have a 6 year old Gordon Setter who, since being severely ill last year has been keeping a lot of dead hair on her coat. She lost nearly all her coat due to medication and treatments whilst she was ill and when it grew back again it came in very very soft like puppy coat.

Before she was ill, she was a show standard ***** and was groomed on a regular occasion, however whilst she was ill and when her coat was so delicate after, it became less frequent. In the past I used a Spratts 72 comb to remove dead hair and that did so with no problem. However, it has become very fine now and so the comb has little affect on pulling the dead hair out. I can pluck it by hand but this is extremely time consuming and at the same time runs the risk of pulling healthy coat.

What would be the best way to strip out the dead coat as she now looks very scruffy and I want to tidy her back up again.

How can I remove dead hair from a Gordon Setter?

We use the Furminator tool in our salon. It is great for your problem. There is a video at the website called Furminator.com. They sell the tool at QVC.com also.

How can I remove dead hair from a Gordon Setter?

get a good grooming brush and brush him/her.

How can I remove dead hair from a Gordon Setter?

Try carding it with a extra large fine carding/stripping knife. just be careful that you don't over card since her coat is already so thin.

How can I remove dead hair from a Gordon Setter?

maybe you should try a large brush, or give her a bath

How can I remove dead hair from a Gordon Setter?

Get a large size metal "shedding blade". Looks like a round saw and works well on dead hair.

How can I remove dead hair from a Gordon Setter?

you could try an 'anti-shedding blade'--what they look like is a flat piece of metal formed to a circle with a handle--the metal has notches on both sides-it does not look like it would do much but i swear by it--and it is very gentle--only removes the loose dead hair not the healthy hair like some rakes and things do--you can not go wrong with this--i have a cat with extremely sensitive skin --plus she is long haired so she needs to be brushed any other brush when rubbed against her skin makes her bleed but with the anti-shedding blade i have not had any problems

good luck hope this helps

How can I remove dead hair from a Gordon Setter?

Use a rubber currycomb---you can find it at a horse supply shop or online.

The FURminator also is great at removing dead undercoat. It is a bit expensive, but does the job great and does it faster. I work in grooming and use it.

How can I remove dead hair from a Gordon Setter?

get a hack saw blade and rub down the coat its very good a lot of grayhound trainers use them

CRAZY hair colors!?

ok so ive had my hair every color that comes to a persons mind! right now its hot hot pink!

i love doing this cause its different and you really never see to many people doing it! plus im a teen who is just out there!

so my question is... does any one know where i can get permanent hair color? ive been using wash out stuff and well im sick of having to redo it really soon and it losing its intensity fast! so can u give me some web sites? and not hot topic. thats where im getting my color right now!

CRAZY hair colors!?

The best place that I know of is Sally's beauty supply. Their products are top of the line, that is where most beauticians get their products from. These products are strong and work way different then the typical non-toxic temporary hair dye. I would give it a second try but be sure to properly treat your hair.

CRAZY hair colors!?

go to sallys or to any hair place

CRAZY hair colors!?

If you can get Stargazer hair colorants where you live then try them - they're only semi-permanent but I found they last really well - I had my hair blue, yellow and hot pink for quite some time and the pink lasted best of all. Plus they're really cheap!

http://www.stargazer-products.com/ - all prices listed are for UK

http://cgi.ebay.com/Special-Effects-Demi... - found this on a quick trawl through US ebay

CRAZY hair colors!?

Try a shop for alternative clothing in your local area.

All shops like that near me sell hair dye.

X

CRAZY hair colors!?

you have a lot of choices, but i recommend you going to a local hair salon and ask them to do it for you.

CRAZY hair colors!?

Um i don't know where you live, but I have my hair color light blue wash out and I bought it along with this really cool permanent brown hair, from this store called Sally's!

CRAZY hair colors!?

Any local large drug store or Wal Mart has a lot of different permanent hair dyes in lots of non traditional colours. Go take a look and you should be able to find something and can do it yourself.

CRAZY hair colors!?

Those types of colors only come in a semi permanent. You will not find a permanent color in those shades. As for other lines try fudge, manic panic, paul mitchell (ink works).

Im in need of some hair loss help...?

my main question is why do i keep lossing my hair and how do i stop it. and when i mean losing i mean it just falls out. i run my hand through my hair and a coulpe of strands just come out.

when i've asked this question before people said i should stop using shampoo, its stress, or im not eating right or sleeping well. well my hair started falling out alot about 2 or 3 months ago and ever since than i stopped using shampoo. and i doubt i have been going through stress and not eating and sleeping well for that long period of time. or maybe i have. i don't know. that's why i need help...

Im in need of some hair loss help...?

Wash your hair properly and don't just wash it in a flash. Take time to wash and dry your hair. You must never ever tie you wet hair without drying. For your hair's healthiness, apply or scrub lemon with coconut milk. This help the hair to get more strength and vitamins.

Also stop using shampoos because they contain bad chemicals in them and can affect the natural growth and cleansing of your hair.

Remember to wash your hair every alternate days and remember to dry them properly. And don't tie you hair in twisty way or don't leave your hair open. Comb you hair neatly and tie them in a decent way.

Im in need of some hair loss help...?

yes i have some tips for you hope it helps

Im in need of some hair loss help...?

dear u shud use shampoos once in a week or u will start with baldness coz of the dandruff

u must consult a good specialist for it so tat it can stop atleast for sum weeks at mean time u can improve with ur diet and ur mental stress

Im in need of some hair loss help...?

Don't put your hair in a pony tail that's what one Dr. told a girl i know maybe that will help but go to the Dr. see what he says.

Im in need of some hair loss help...?

You may have alopecia aretea. It's an autoimmune skin disease. The hair follicles are attatcked by your own body and makes the hair fall out. See a Dr. they can correctly diagnose this.

Im in need of some hair loss help...?

There are many factors that can lead to hair loss. Some of them are, thyroid dysfunction, the elements, stress, and diet. Have you recently had your throid checked? Could you have an iron deficiency? Started or stopped medication? What kind of shampoo, conditioner and hair products are you using?

At my salon we are knowledgeable in the capacity of hair loss and how to slow the process down, prevent any more loss and actually regrow hair that has been lost.

For our fine and thinning hair clients we use and recommend a line of hair care products called Nioxin. These products work by cleaning out the hair follicule and stimulating the scalp by increasing the blood supply, therefore nourishing the root of the hair. The best part of the treatment, called Scalp Therapy is great! It feels like cool mints on your head. Even pregnant women love this product because it has such healing properties that it actually helps to reduce and soften stretch marks!

Remember, Nioxin is only guaranteed if purchased in an authorized professional salon. If you buy it at grocery stores or other retail outlets, you could be buying a counterfit product, plus you won't know how to use the product properly.

Good luck, and I hope this information has been helpful.

Im in need of some hair loss help...?

You shoukld check with your doctor and make sure there are no underlying illnesses. It could be Alopecia. Here is some info that might help

My hair is breaking up with me!?

I am an african american woman and I need advice from other women of color on this one......My hair keeps breaking off, falling out. If you see my pic, that is a wig im wearing and yes, it has gotten that bad to the point i have to wear a wig. My hair does get dry and brittle. And yes I do, relax my hair. My hair is breaking up with me!?

KISS it GOOD-BYE!No I'm judt kidding,I'm not sure on this one!!

My hair is breaking up with me!?

Girl, you need to start taking a multi vitamin. Eating healthy foods also helps. If you a relaxing your hair too frequently that could also cause dammage to your hair. Make sure to wrap your hair with a silk or satin scarf at night to reduce breakang %26amp; talk to a dematologist about your balding. Some of "us" have a scalp condition called alopecia which causes hair loss %26amp; balding. Good luck ma!

*By the way...since you already wear a wig, it might be a good idea to cut of your relaxed hair %26amp; start growing it out natural. Nobody will see it cuz it will be under the wig!

My hair is breaking up with me!?

I think you have already identified the answer to your problem. Relaxers cause hair breakage in most people. Many people can tolerate relaxers when they are young, but as they get older the relaxers start to take their toll and cause extensive damage. I suggest you consider going natural. Natural can mean completely natural - just wear your hair as it is in braids, or other natural styles, or it can mean straightened temporarily, as in pressing with low heat. Facial hair in school?

I go to a public high school and our gay *** dress code says that we are not to have facial hair.

I was wondering if this is violating any of my own rights and what I should do about it instead of give in. Shouldn't teachers and staff be more concerned about what is in our heads than what is on our faces? My stupid teacher told me to go to the office today and shave because I had a little hair on my chin..and in doing this I lost valuable time in completing my assignment. I lost learning time because of dealing with personal matters...is this right?

Garnier Fruitius Hair Dye?

i have the black garnier fruitis hair coloring kit but i lost the instructions, where do you put the fruit oil concentrate in, The hair dye mixture or in your hair after youve dyed it and do you put all the whole contents of dye in the peroxide cream bottle or only some of it

Garnier Fruitius Hair Dye?

you should have 3 things in there, 2 are the hair dye and one is a conditioner. you put the whole contents of the tube into the bottle off hair dye. shake for about 10 minutes then apply it. then after the waiting time use the conditioner after rinsing all the dye out.

~~**What should i use to make my hair grow more healthy, thick, shiny, silky & long**~~ ??

(Please read the complete details)

My hair is naturally dark black %26amp; i have no interest in colouring my hair.

I have long hair, earlier it was very thick but now it is becoming

thinner !. It is losing all its earlier vitality.

I don't know what is the reason.

Am i lacking in my diet ??

I am 19 , please suggest the fruits or vegetables that i should

include in my diet.

Please suggest some home made remedies to apply on my

hair. I want my hair to become healthy as it was earlier.

~~**Please help**~~

~~**Thanks for responding**~~

~~**Spread smiles**~~ :-)

~~**What should i use to make my hair grow more healthy, thick, shiny, silky %26amp; long**~~ ??

hello babe, well lets start. ur quite young so dont stress, usually if u are stressed about something it takes roughly three months for your body to show tell tale signs, so if u had surgery where u were put under for example, ur hair will mult 3 months later its a normal thing if u have had surgery or are taking any types of prescriptions, your body has weird ways of dealing with stress, skin disorders, sleep patterns, hair loss, etc, these things are nothing to worry about, your hair also does go thru phases of where it will grow for months to years and then drop out and re grow, but dont worry not all of it jus some of it, (as u get older with time ur hair has a natural thinning process, we all go thru it with age, but lucky if u have natural dark thick hair to begin with) - it seems like alot but trust me it will be back in no time. so try not to stress. hair also needs sleep and hydration and nuitrition, if ur lacking sleep and diets not to great? try a mult v also take silica which is good for maitaining shine and health. silica comes in tab form at pharmacies, drink drink drink, water!!!! thats what keeps ur hair also hydrated, whatever u lack ur hair cops as well so if ur hairs dry try and eat things with natural oils like salads with avocado, they contain natural oils do not opt for fatty oils as they will make ur hair produce more oil and wont give much to making ur hair grow, keep up treatments trims etc, and its good to not color ur hair, keep it real and u will have nice length, color and people will envy what they dont have. things that contain zinc are also fab! also take tab form, zinc is found in carrots i think, sweet potatoes and other foods greens and leafy vege, look it up. and if hair is damaged at ends cut it immediatley, damaged hair is as useless as a flat tyre, it will also affect the good parts of the hair by travelling upwards which jus snaps off anyway. hope i was of some help. try kerastase masquintense by loreal its an awesome hair treatment, dont stress! goodluck.xox

~~**What should i use to make my hair grow more healthy, thick, shiny, silky %26amp; long**~~ ??

Bondi: when you say your hair is long, that may be why you think it is getting thin.Hair is never as thick at the ends as it is near the scalp,as far as conditioners go,there is probably no need to use one, unless your hair has been damaged.up until the 1950s. there weren't any around, except for deep conditioners, what people used was a lemon rinse,recipe;1oz lemon juice 7oz warm water, the acid will counter-act, the alkalies in the shampoo and give the hair a shine---- good luck

I've got the same question. Stress, what a terrible disease!

What is hair grafting?

what is grafting?

how it works? and how long it works?

is it a parmanent solution for baldness

what about weaving and transplantation?

what is the success record of all and which one among them is reliable?

i m 24 and lost most of the hair at front and middle,

now my scalp is even visible, though no one in my family has ever faced this problem,

pl help to get me rid of this hair loss,

and some solution if you know for regrowth!!!

What is hair grafting?

surgically implant hair into the scalp.

What is hair grafting?

Hair grafting is when they take tiny plugs of your scalp where there is hair and implant the where there isn't any hair. It's expensive but it is a permanent solution to thinning or balding.

Weaving is exactly what it sounds like it is and it too is expensive. With weaving you have to go back about every 6 - 8 weeks for them to redo or tighten the weave as your own hair grows out. It is not a permanent solution so it will cost more over a period of time.

Another option is just to totally shave your head. It's very popular right now and many women find it very sexy.

Wanting a change (hair)?

hey all! well i have shoulder length brown wavy hair which i straighten everyday (so pretty much always straight) and i have a round face. I have a "layered" look in the front, but i really want more obvious blunt layers through my WHOLE hair, so they're obvious. I am willing to lose a LITTLE length for this. I just want something that is easy to style just by brushing and straightening and not so boring and bland! also, i want to touch up my foils and get my hair coloured...rather than them touch them up, should i just get my hair recoloured and then foiled again?? Anyway, my question is also, as for the layers, what do i ask for??? layers through my hair, layering...what??

Wanting a change (hair)?

if your hair is thick, it's very easy to cut visible layers. if it's thin you might need some extra product to separate the layers more. when getting it cut, most good hairstylist will know what you're talking about when you say "obvious layers". to make sure, find a picture you like and show them. it helps to have a good hairstylist.

Wanting a change (hair)?

Lemon Juice does not make you hair lighter i doesn't do much but make it less greasy, once you wash it. Don't worry I did the exact same thing, but here is what you can do. I read in a magazine the you can spray chaminolle tea in your hair. First mix it in with some water and heat in the microwave for 20 seconds. Then let it cool because you don't want it to go on you scapl hot. (I do not want you to get burnt) Then put it in a spray bottle or just poor it on ur hair. Sit in the sun for about 20 minutes a little more if your hair is thicker. And then rinse it out. You hair should be lighter withen a day and if you have any natural highlights it works REALLY well. Hope this helps sorry the lemon juice didn't work! -A

Wanting a change (hair)?

i have a friend who has super short layers on top, and they get longer as you go down! it was SO CuTe!!! it made her hair really easy to style and it was always full of body!

Wanting a change (hair)?

Its called a 45. Dont as it know what you mean. Flippy layers that gradually go down.

That will look cute on wavy hair as well as straight.

Just ask for a 45 but leave the lengh. if its a good hairstylist they should know what you mean.

Also look through magazines and cut out pictures of what you think you want and show it to your stylist and discuss it.

=]]]

Wanting a change (hair)?

Well, is there anybody, or a celebrity or whatever, that has the hairstyle you want? If so, bring a picture to the salon and show the people. If not, tell them exactly what you just told us.

I think that is a pretty good description. Tell them, don't be shy. But when you do get it cut or whatever, remember to hold that head high!

Wanting a change (hair)?

I would say considering a round face I would go a bit above the chin but right at or below the ears perfect for round faces and also I would get bright high light's bueatiful aspecially if you have hazel , green or blue eyes... I bet you are bueatiful no matter what you choose!!! I also think that layers are a bad idea.. LOL... But like I said you are buetiful no matter what!!! :) But we all like change!!!

Funky hair do?

I have thick-ish long blonde hair (look in my other questions for bits of pictures) and anyway I am sick of just putting it up in a pony tail for school.

If I wanna wear it out I know the usual way is to layer it or give it a side fringe but they are what everyone has in their hair and i want something original.

I also would like it to be low maintanance and able to be tied up, without losing too much length.

So any photos, pictures or sugestions on an unusal but awesome hair style would be greatly appreciated. =)

Funky hair do?

how about low pigtails? i read it in a magazine when i was bored, wear it low and loose, makes it sexy. also the picture next to it had the model tying them with ribbons.

FALLING HAIR -

Does your hair fall a lot? Don't worry, you're not alone. Millions of people from all around the world suffer from dry, brittle and weak hair. Some of the possible reasons for falling hair are:

Tension

Too much work

Illness

Poor diet

Over-exposure to the sun

Perming

Amateur bleaching

Too frequent and inexpert use of tints, rinses or other colourants

Here is what you can do to prevent hair fall

Shampoo regularly. Remember, a CLEAN scalp is a HEALTHY SCALP.

Brahmi amla oil also promotes hair growth.

A high protein diet with plenty of fruits, green vegetables and dairy products is a must.

Drink 10-12 glass of water everyday.

Use a very mild shampoo and condition your hair at least twice a week. When you do, make sure you rinse out the conditioner thoroughly, otherwise residue build-up will cause your hair to look limp and dull.

Know your vitamins! IRON is important for healthy hair and brittle, limp hair indicates an iron deficiency. Spinach has a good iron content, so gulp it down!

ZINC helps prevent hair loss and greying. Eat adequate zinc rich foods. Overweight people tend to have zinc deficiency, which is inversely related to the body mass index. Thus if you are overweight and if your hair falls too much, you may want to increase your intake of zinc containing foods. Recipes containing stone ground, wholegrain flour are rich in zinc.

A shortfall in VITAMIN B may cause dandruff, falling hair, loss of colour and could encourage grey hair. So B group Vitamins are essential for gloss, colour and thickness.

VITAMIN C ensures the health of capillaries supplying blood to hair follicles. Make sure your diet includes plenty of fresh fruits and veggies.

VITAMIN E encourages hair growth. Switch from refined flours to wholemeal and wheatgerm, eggs, vegetable oil.

COPPER stops hair from falling. Studies show that the copper content in the blood serum of people with falling hair is less than normal. Different types of alopecia (falling hair) are seen to have a deficiency of this important trace element. Include small quantities of nuts, especially cashews and peanuts, seeds, whole milk and beans in your diet as these contain minute but important amounts of copper.

Homemade remedies for preventing hair fall:

Apply almond oil on scalp and massage.

Grind fenugreek seeds in water and apply on your scalp. Wash off after 40 minutes. Do this every morning for a month 闅哣 if it suits you! Remember, different treatments suit different types of hair.

Massage warm castor oil + almond oil into your scalp gently. Wrap a hot towel around your scalp so it gets absorbed into the hair. Do this twice a week for healthy, shiny hair.

Add 2-3 drops of honey to a glass of water and use this as the last rinse after shampooing.

Quick Hair Care Conditioner

Mix 1 egg, 2 tbs castor oil, 1 tsp vinegar and 1 tsp glycerine. Beat until frothy and massage lightly into your scalp. Wrap your head in a hot towel, steam, then wash off. This conditioner makes hair thicker, shiny, soft and manageable.

Honey Conditioner

Beat 1-2 eggs (depending on the length of the hair), 1 tsp honey and 2 tsp olive oil. Massage gently into the scalp. Steam, and shampoo after an hour.

Alcohol Conditioner

Beat 1-2 eggs with 2 tsp brandy. Massage into your scalp. Leave for 10-15 mins. Rinse well. The egg nourishes your hair and brandy stimulates hair growth.

Your hair is a vital beauty asset, requiring constant loving care. And with a little nurturing, lush, glossy hair will be yours

ESSENTIALS FOR FALLING HAIR -

Does your hair fall often Arm yourself with these tools to combat hair fall.

Wide-toothed comb

Get yourself a wide-toothed comb. This is probably one of the most important yet underutilized of all hair tools. A wide-toothed comb helps you distribute conditioner evenly all over your hair while shampooing and conditioning. In addition, it also helps get rid of knots smoothly.

The best time to get rid of knots is during conditioning. Apply conditioner and run a wide toothed comb gently through your hair.

While untangling dry hair, do so in sections. Take one section at a time, and first, untangle the ends of your hair. Do so slowly, and don?t pull unless you want your hair to fall out in clumps or break.

Don?t wait for the last minute before detangling your hair. Every night, while sitting in front of the television, run a wide toothed comb gently through your hair, until you have untangled it completely. Do this every night, and you will notice that your hair remains free from tangles.

Leave-in conditioner

Dry hair tends to tangle easily, and, needless to say, causes it to break. Make sure your hair is never devoid of moisture by always keeping a bottle of leave-in conditioner handy. The next time you feel your hair is dry and rough to the touch, simply rub a dollop of leave-in conditioner between your palms, and apply it to your hair. Comb through with your wide toothed comb. Your hair will be instantly rejuvenated and moisturized. Gradually, the texture will also improve. This is a must if you blow dry your hair regularly, or if it is chemically treated. Such hair constantly craves moisture, so get yourself a bottle of leave-in conditioner.

Oil

Olive, almond and coconut oils are all excellent for the hair. While you could apply oil as an alternative to leave-in conditioner, oil tends to make your hair sticky, and you cannot style your hair well after applying oil. Your only alternative would then be to tie up your hair. For better results with oil, apply just a few drops immediately after washing your hair, when your hair is still dripping wet. Oil doesn?t penetrate the strands as easily as leave-in conditioner does though. Nothing beats a hot oil massage followed by a steam treatment, as the steam helps the oil penetrate the hair strands, strengthening them and curtailing hair fall.

Egg

Egg is great for the hair ? there are no two ways about it! True, it causes a tremendous stink in the bathroom, and your hair may let off an ?eggy? smell, but the results are instantaneous and worth it! Egg strengthens your hair almost immediately, and the egg yolk leaves your hair shining. Whip an egg with two tablespoons of olive oil and apply it to your hair. Wash off after half an hour. Make sure you wash off with cold water though, or the egg will start cooking in your hair, and would be harder to take off! Use a scented shampoo to counter the smell of egg in your hair, and follow up with a leave-in conditioner. Do this for a month, and you will be amazed by the change in your hair texture and the reduction in hair fall.

Rapidly thinning hair and a lot of hair loss help?

You could be anemic (lacking iron). This is the most common reason for hair loss. Another reason can be an allergy or skin disease. I suggest you go to the doctor, get your blood work done and consult about it.

Rapidly thinning hair and a lot of hair loss help?

Get Nioxin!! It's a little pricey but is well worth it. I had a similar problem to yours and my hair broke off up to my ears and I had hair a little past my shoulders. I pretty much had a short bob. I went to a salon and this lady told me about it. I used it and within 6 months my hair had grown back to my shoulders, and past it. Since I have my hair back healthy I now alternate washing my hair with biosilk. Give it a try.

I have lost alot of weight and my hair is falling out,how can I stop it?

I want tips to prevent hair loss do to weight loss and,or medicane to stop it.

I have lost alot of weight and my hair is falling out,how can I stop it?

You are losing hair becasue you are missing needed nutrients. Your hair and nails will be the first to be effected. You need more protein for your hair.

I have lost alot of weight and my hair is falling out,how can I stop it?

losing hair due to weight loss is only when you're not consuming enough nutrients for your hair to be healthy !

So eat more healthy food, fruits, vegetables, protein.

And drink some Vitamin E, or a multivitamin everyday.

I have lost alot of weight and my hair is falling out,how can I stop it?

Take a muti-vitamine and make sure it has bioten in it.

I have lost alot of weight and my hair is falling out,how can I stop it?

yes! take a multi vitamin everyday.... make sure your not starving yourself. That would only lead to long term health problems. Be Smart!!!!

I have lost alot of weight and my hair is falling out,how can I stop it?

if you're hair is falling out because you've lost alot of weight, you're malnutritioned. you aren't eating right, which is causing your hair to fall out.

stop starving yourself and your hair will grow back. i've seen this many times...you technically have an eating disorder. either that or your sick.

no medicine is going to stop it. you're doctor will tell you the same thing. you lost weight too fast and didn't do it right. simple as that.

I have lost alot of weight and my hair is falling out,how can I stop it?

Wow i have never heard of this but i would take like vitamins that makes your hair shiny and grow.

I have lost alot of weight and my hair is falling out,how can I stop it?

Potential thyroid problem - you may want to see a doctor and have some blood tests run to check your thyroid hormones if you are still eating normally and not exercising excessively.

I had the same problem last year, and it turns out I have an overactive thyroid.

I have lost alot of weight and my hair is falling out,how can I stop it?

oo wow! you might consider asking a hair stylist or switch shampoos or just go see a doctor!

I have lost alot of weight and my hair is falling out,how can I stop it?

I'm in this acting/modeling agency and trust me my hair was a mess but they give you a lot of valuable pointers. So now you have the privilage of getting it without paying $6,000.00 lol.

you should start this and do it once a month-

Hair Breakage- wash hair with a light neutral Ph shampoo. (you can get any of these things at a health store)Apply mineral water or sea water to the hair. Cover the entire scalp with the following mixture

:one table spoon if mayonnaise, black-strap molasses and soy sauce, blended together. Leave on thirty minutes. Rinse well. Give your hair a light neutral shampoo.

Try a "Body builder" conditioner (google that)

do a hot oil treatment once a month

I have lost alot of weight and my hair is falling out,how can I stop it?

It's not because you've lost a lot of weight, it's because you're not taking in enough vitamins for natural hair growth. I would suggest that you check up on your diet to make sure it's okay to be on because your hair isn't supposed to fall out when you lose weight.

How to straigten my hair?

Ok i know how to, like i have a flat iron and i use it, but it doesn't last long, few minutes later its puffy and ugh. i use a good shampoo and conditioner, have oily hair (i dont know if it matters) and have a lot of hair so its gets really puffy ( not afro like but like if i dont straighting it looks really puffy/straight type)

so what im trying to say is how should i straighten my hari

like the products that i have are

- JF Leave in Conditioner ( not sure if its heart proof but its a spray)

- Hair Gell ( i think its Garnier Sleek and Shine )

- And Hair Spray

how do i apply this im seriously lost

what goes first and what goes last

and what other products can i add so it can add a bit more depth and what can i add to make my hair stay in place longer because lately its been windy, and my hair just goes everywhere and gets ruined.

between i have medium long hair barely reaches my eyebrows

How to straigten my hair?

ok my hair poofs too and i always have to deal w this in the summer i will straitin my hair and walk outside and its poofy! ugh! so heres my trick, make sure you get every strand strait i start w the bottem of my hair and straitin that well all my other hair is in clips and i just straitin my hair by taking a little hair at a time making sure i get all the way from the root to the tip. when your done doing every section use a hair product you can put over dry hair that keeps it from frizzing (use a thick creamy substance not something liquidy) and run it through your hair especially the ends, it should do a good job and if u notice ur hair poofing just make sure you wait lik a half hr or shorter after you straitin it and run the straitner ovr it again, it helps me

How to straigten my hair?

Well you can wrap your hair wit a wrap cap

When i use the hair dryer, when i suppose to wash my hair??

My friend wash it in 7 days but i can not stand that i just could only stand for 4 days( i shower twice a day but can't wash my hair as well twice a day i fear to lose its health) but the say if you'll use for long time you must wash it once a weak so that it won't lose its health, what do you think?

Or just make hair dryer twice a month and the rest of the month make it normal or curley? Any ideas?

Note : my hair is a bit curley and dry type, i rare go out day time.

Thanks alot.

When i use the hair dryer, when i suppose to wash my hair??

my aunts a hair stylist and i have the same hair type...wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner every other day ,if u still want to take daily showers u can just dont wash it.shampoo opens your hair foliciles to clean it and conditioner makes sure to shut them again and keeps it moisterized.make sure your using a good conditioner if your hair is really dry. use your blow dryer once a week....blow dryers ARE worse then using straightners since the heat is directly going to your hair,so that could be a reson for the dryness..sometimes it helps to just not blow dry your hair for a while until you restore its natural shine.

hope this helps

When i use the hair dryer, when i suppose to wash my hair??

get baby shampoo

use a shower cap

and wash every second day

dont use hair dryer if at all possible .... thats what destroys hair ... hold further away and on coolest setting

When i use the hair dryer, when i suppose to wash my hair??

Did you know that shampooing everyday or every other day could dry your scalp and hair? If you overshampoo your hair it can cause harm by drying both the scalp and hair. This could lead to a dry scalp condition...Once a week shampooing is highly reccommended whether you like it or not.

I suggest a conditioning or moisturizing shampoo and a deep cream conditioner (put on wet hair, comb through, cover with plastic cap, and get under hair dryer for 20 min.) do this weekly. This type of shampoo contains Protein and/or biotin which helps to restore moisture and elasticity, strengthen the hair shaft, and add volume. And are nonstripping if you have color.

Oh yeah, when you put the conditioner on make sure you massage it into your scalp for about 1 min. before getting under hair dryer.

Make sure you wash the conditioner out; you need a curl balm for your hair (you should get this from a professional salon) you can use it on your hair damp or dry; you need a diffuser piece for your blow dryer, it will make the air flow more softly and helps to accentuate your hair...Hope this helps...

Note: Use a Spray-on thermal protector to protect your hair from heat

And your friend is right about washing hair once a week.

When i use the hair dryer, when i suppose to wash my hair??

Hair care and how often you should shampoo your hair depends a lot on your hair. If you are caucasion, for example, Shampooing only once a week may not be enough. If you are African American, shampooing more than once a week is not a great idea. It's the curse of naturally curly hair to be a bit on the dry side, however, if you use the right products, and use your tools like dryers, straighteners, curling irons, etc., properly, you can maintain healthy hair. I shampoo every day and have very healthy hair even though I color to cover gray hair. My hair is straight but I shampoo every day and blow it dry every day. I use good shampoo and conditioner, medium heat on my dryer, leave in conditioner and if I'm using an iron of sort, I use a thermal protectant. If you would like some specific product information or hair care information, email me. Some people think hair dryers are worse for your hair than flat irons or curling irons but that is not entirely true. Flat irons and curling irons apply concentrated heat and do much more damage if not used correctly than a diffused dryer on a medium setting.

When i use the hair dryer, when i suppose to wash my hair??

There is no rule on washing your hair, as long as your hair feels clean to u ,u could wash it once a week. I have clients who wash there hair once a week, as long as it feels clean, and smells fine, I say wash it when it feels dirty, u do have the right idea keeping it healthy. if u wash it all the time u can dry out, depending on ur hair type. Keep doing what ur doin, as long as its healthy, dont change nothing!!

Was the price right for getting my hair highlighted?

I've been dying my hair red for the past 6 months or so and suddenly just wanted to go back to my original blonde color. It was sort of like my decision to go red, I just felt it was the right time. So I tried one of those home kits even though I knew it wouldn't probably work and my hair was, you guessed it, orange. So I went to the salon and they tried another color correction, then spent 4 hours giving it highlights and lowlights to slowly take it back to the blonde. I'm happy with it right now. I think I like it better now. I was surprised they were able to get it so close to what I wanted since when got to the store, I couldn't find the pictures I printed up. I also ended up losing my wallet, so called my wonderful parents to bail me out. This is how they found out the cost was $185 for all the color work. I've since paid them back for the color and the tip, but Mom thinks I was overcharged. I disagree, I mean I was there for 5 hours. Opinions?

Was the price right for getting my hair highlighted?

NO, you were not overcharged. I am the hair color queen, haha just kidding but really. I've gone from brown, to red, to blonde and just today a mix of blonde and brown. I try new places all the time and it typically costs between 165 - 190$ everytime. I went today and spent about 165 because they didn't do much. I'm guessing they had to use a toner to keep it from being orange, which is what they charge extra for me when i go from brown to blonde... so yes I think they charged what everyone else does.

Was the price right for getting my hair highlighted?

ya

Was the price right for getting my hair highlighted?

yes the price was right since they spent like five hours on your hair

Was the price right for getting my hair highlighted?

I think you got a great deal.

Was the price right for getting my hair highlighted?

No you were not overcharged. I manage a salon in N.C. and my stylists would have honestly charged your more for color correction. But when you maintain your hi-lights it won't cost you that much, maybe $70.

Was the price right for getting my hair highlighted?

i guess

Was the price right for getting my hair highlighted?

I think that was about right for a mid-priced salon- especially since you were happy with the results. I've worked in NJ, FL and KS. Color correction is expensive because it is time consuming and requires a lot of materials. Plus you are paying for a stylists expertise- if it were easy you would have been able to do it yourself. I own a salon, and I can tell you- the overhead is outrageous!

Was the price right for getting my hair highlighted?

Sounds about right to me, an average color, one tone is between eighty and one hundred dollars in my area, and your hair was several color adjustments on top of taking up four to five average hair appointments at thirty five dollars each.

Some salons would charge over two hundred and fifty dollars for the same color adjustments.

Enjoy your new/original color and have a Happy New Year.

Was the price right for getting my hair highlighted?

you sound like you are in an urban/metropolitan area, so the price sounds right to me. probably would have been a little less at my salon, but we aren't exactly in new york, you know? our color corrections START at $85, and those appointments usually take 2 - 2 1/2 hours, so, yeah, i probably would have charged you right around $150-$160 depending on how much product i used, whether you needed a toner, whether you needed a filler for your lowlites, whether you really needed the color remover in the first place, etc. tell your mom you weren't ripped. color is a petroleum based product; the prices rise with the price of gas ;)

and that estimate does not include any haircuts or conditioners either ;)

(i'm in jacksonville, nc, by the way. medium sized military town in the south.)

Was the price right for getting my hair highlighted?

Almost every hairstylist I've known/worked with who could have achieved that kind of color correction would have charged you $50 or more per hour.

I'd say you owe this wonderful colorist a favor for such an inexpensive job... say, passing out a few business cards?

I have medium brown hair with highlights. What do I do when I get roots on the highlights?

The roots are not that noticeable now, but I think as winter comes on, my hair gets darker and the highlights will probably lose some of the blondness...

But is there something I should do about the roots?

I have medium brown hair with highlights. What do I do when I get roots on the highlights?

you have to get your roots done every two months

Change hairdressers if she does it wrong and be happy about yourself. You can't change yourself. Learn to love yourself again, look in the mirror and say im beautiful 10x everyday and rly believe it.. good luck and take care!

Losing All My Confidence... :-(?

im having the same feeling what makes me feel better is when u do sumit fun that makes u forget about looks! and pamper yourself its horrible feeling ugly esp if your young but sh*t happens

Losing All My Confidence... :-(?

girl **** what people think about you just be yourself

Losing All My Confidence... :-(?

You'll find that the world isn't divided into attractive and unattractive people. Beauty is all about opinion. People are always disagreeing over who is attractive and who isnt. The most important thing is that you are fun and lovable. Try smiling, that instantly makes you feel better and look better. Stop worrying about how you look so much, confidence is the key! Just smile, be happy and do the things you enjoy.

Cheer up! :-)

Losing All My Confidence... :-(?

everyone has different opionion on ugly and pretty. There is more than 5 guys out there that think you are beautiful! its true. I thought I was the ugliest girl in my entire class but i really didnt care. but then some girls told me i was pretty after i got to know them better (since i moved into a different school) and even some of the guys confessed. Well, guys are practically my best friends but people say i make friends easy. EVERYONE is Beautiful inside. Even if you want to be rotten inside, there is still 1 part of you that someone will c now or later and will know that there is a beautiful part in you.

Losing All My Confidence... :-(?

Think of the things you DO like about your body. focus on them.

Try to REMEMBER COMPLIMENTS and hear them again in your head when you feel low about yourself.

In your life in general, try to hear yourself thinking positive thoughts. Negative thoughts can sound like a stuck record. It can take time but you can get out of the habit of thinking negatively.

Be kind to yourself, you are probably kind to everyone else, so treat yourself the same way.

Remember how edited magazine pictures are. They are all airbrushed and tweaked to make the model look prettier/thinner etc.

Losing All My Confidence... :-(?

Judging by your avatar your really pretty!!! :-D

Wear lots of make - up, pretty clothes, and SMILE!!!

Were all pretty in our own ways!!! :-D

My daughter has long hair?

i am white my 5 year old has long hair she has a semi formal graduation coming up and a recital the same night .i am lost of what to do with her hair she has to have it up for the recitle and down for the graduation in order for her cap to fit on her head any suggestion

My daughter has long hair?

you could put it up with a hair claw, that way you could just clip it up and when it needs to come out just pull the claw out and there shouldn't be to much of a mess unlike if you had a pony tail in it and it leaves that that nasty wave in the hair where it was at. the only problem i see with the claw is if her hair is really thick like mine but...i manged to make claws work so, lol if i can i think anyone can! lol good luck!

My daughter has long hair?

Why not put it up for the recital and then let it down for the graduation.

My daughter has long hair?

She should get a hair cut and tell the person about the graduation and they could help her out.

My daughter has long hair?

Put her hair in a bun or a pony tail or a bit of both for the recital and have her hair in a plait or out for the graduation its a simple matter of putting in and taking out a hair scrunchie!

My daughter has long hair?

put up in a messy bun and then you can just take it down really quick for the graduation and brush it.

My daughter has long hair?

I would go with the hair claw, too.

My 7 year old dachshund has lost quite an amount of his hair over his ears, abdomen and tail. Is thi

2 hormonal conditions that are quiet common in older dogs that present with hair loss are

1. Hyperadrenocorticism (cushings disease)

2. Hypothyroid (underactive thyroid)

A MBA (muliple body analysis) blood test will indicate to the vet whether there is liver enzyme elevations or not (Cushings) or a T4 test will indicate thyroid issues.

My 7 year old dachshund has lost quite an amount of his hair over his ears, abdomen and tail. Is this normal?

Don't be freaked out but who knows try asking the vet because I don't think so though I don't want to be rude but could be.

My 7 year old dachshund has lost quite an amount of his hair over his ears, abdomen and tail. Is this normal?

No, get him to a vet right away....

My 7 year old dachshund has lost quite an amount of his hair over his ears, abdomen and tail. Is this normal?

it might be fleas. my sisters dog has an allergic reaction to the bites from fleas and even if she has one flea, she starts to lose her hair. if its not fleas then I suggest seeing a vet....it doesn't sound normal to me.

My 7 year old dachshund has lost quite an amount of his hair over his ears, abdomen and tail. Is this normal?

It could be hypothryoidism, common in middle aged and older dogs. I would have your vet do some bloodwork to find out.

My 7 year old dachshund has lost quite an amount of his hair over his ears, abdomen and tail. Is this normal?

It is not normal so call the vet and get an appointment.

Hope your little man will be ok... this could also cause him to have irritated skin which could drive him nuts if it starts to itch.

GOOD LUCK

My 7 year old dachshund has lost quite an amount of his hair over his ears, abdomen and tail. Is this normal?

Take him to the vet and ask if it is possible that he may have Cushing's disease. You can go online and research as I did, (Just type in Cushing's disease in dogs) The vet thinks my oldest granddoggie may have it. There is also a test they can do to find out if the dog has it or not. It seems to be more prevalent in older dogs. If so, the dog will have to go on medication. Good luck.

What can i do for oily, very fine hair?

I have oily (I have to wash it every day) hair and it is also very fine, I seem to be losing a lot of it as well ... I just want some good advice for hair care

What can i do for oily, very fine hair?

Hi ice princess,

what are you trying to achieve? If you want to get rid of the oily hair, use a "clarifying or deep cleansing shampoo", followed with a moisturizing shampoo, to maintain your hair's natural moister. Don't use a conditioner on a reg. bases. However, once a month, use a deep penetrating conditioner. Example: "cholesterol plus" or "Cream of Nature".

As for the fine hair, you can use a volumizing shampoo. I would suggest "VAVOOM" VOLUMIZING SHAMPOO. What VAVOOM does is swell the hair shaft, giving it an appearence of a full healthy head of hair.

I hope I have been of some help to you.

Sincerely,

Rita

What can i do for oily, very fine hair?

I have the best answer for your question "What can i do for oily, very fine hair?". Please click the link below to check my answer:

What can i do for oily, very fine hair?

have u tried only conditioning the ends of ur hair? by avoiding the scalp it may stay less oily longer, or maybe use a much lighter conditioner if u can find one and if u need a little extra use some leave in spray conditioner on just the ends. and a clarifying shampoo may help, avoid shampoos that prolong color, these usually dont bust the oil out quite as good as others. theyre nice, just not nice for oily hair.

What can i do for oily, very fine hair?

Keep care your hair and use soap.

What can i do for oily, very fine hair?

Make sure you buy shampos and conditioners that are specifically for your hair type (the Vo5 range is really doog and inexpensive)

When shampooing avoid putting conditioner on the roots and dont use overly hot water as this stimulates the oil glands in the scalp.

abae very liberal with using hair product as the creames amd pastes just make fine hair look really lank, so stick to sprays.

It sounds boring but do keep a good balanced diet lots of water, fruit and veg, lean meats, This immendely helps your hair.

We all shed hair during brushing, showering etc sometimes it is stress, hormones, poor diet, but if you are losing large amounts that appear as small clumps do see a doctor.

Take care and remember to wear a smile, its the most beautiful thing!

What can i do for oily, very fine hair?

Wash your hair with a certain shampoo you choose that matches your hair type during the week except for one day when you've got to use clarifying shampoo. Don't use conditioner, you don't need it, unless you want to use it on the ends.

Believe me I know how you feel, sometimes when I wash my hair in the morning it's all oily at night. Try Maine and tail shampoo for losing hair, it makes it stronger.

Also eat healthy and drink water and look for the shampoos that have extra vitamins which come with pills as well.

What can i do for oily, very fine hair?

there are shampoos for oily hair.after using them use conditioners so that your hair doesn't become sticky.

What can i do for oily, very fine hair?

if you are using conditioner stop, or apply it only to the ends, also try changing the shampoo bran you are using some brands really make hair even more oily..if you feel that your hair is oily and you do not have enough time to wash it just rub some baby powder through your palms and then comb it with your fingers through the roots of your hair..your hair will smell nice and look less oily

What can i do for oily, very fine hair?

I have the same problem. I find that even putting the conditioner at the ends or not using a conditions does nothing at all. If I don;t use conditioner my hair gets static.

I have also found that even the products in the hairdressers do not always do the job, however I have just used a product from there for fine hair (normally I try oily, or others to see if they work). This apparently helps lift the hair from the scalp. It seemed to work for me anyway (the first time in 16 years I didn't wash my hair everyday!!).

I have not been working much and have been forcing myself to not wash my hair everyday (when I know I am not owrking the next day)...and its actually getting slightly better (ie its not as oily).

I have also found dry spray in shampoos help. You can get them from pharmacies and they are useful if you go camping etc too (although I have to spray it in a couple of times a day).

What can i do for oily, very fine hair?

I have the same problem as you do. My hair is very fine, and tends to be oily ( I also have to wash it every day).... while this is no problem as far as shine is concerned, I became a bit worried about the amount of hair I would find in my brush everyday, especially after I had it cut/colored. My hair stylist recommended this product called Nioxin (she uses it too, and has beautiful hair). This product is actually for people experiencing significant hair loss, but can be used for those of us who want to bulk up our fine hair too... I just started using it, so I don't have any significant results yet, but I can tell you that my stylist's hair appears to be very full and beautiful.... Otherwise, try to avoid combing or brushing your hair when its wet, and make sure you are getting enough sleep and good nutrition because this really does affect your hair's growth. Also, try not to stress too much.... take some time to relax. All of these factors have really improved my hair's heath and I hope they work for you too!! Good luck :)

Please help me with my HAIR!!!!!?

It's horribly disgusting and it's never been this way. Ever.

My hair always used to be perfect, maybe even a little too oily, and flat to my head, but other than that, it was perfect.

And now I've ruined it and I don't know what in the world to do. Here's what I've done to it: I got a perm in November. I have dyed it from medium-dark brown with pink highlights to a brassy blonde in March, and from there to a light light blonde with brown highlights in May. This, alone, fried my hair, but I didn't stop there. About a week ago, I bought a home chemical straightening kit. As my hair was going through that, I lost a TON of hair, and I still am every time I brush it or run my fingers through it -- AND it's still kind of curly just from the dryness. It's horribly elastic-y when wet, then as soon as it's dry it's poofy. My friend told me to leave conditioner in for 20 minutes every other day, and not to brush it until it's dry, but I have had no success. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me!

Please help me with my HAIR!!!!!?

come on have you read what you wrote?

you have destoyed your hair and knew you were doing it.....

if you don't think about the problem.............which I see a lot of........which is having a compulsion to destroying your hair....( its kind of like alcoholic's or drug addicts....they know what they are doing is killing themselves but they do it anyway...that's what u are doing.......

wrecking your hair....you MUST REALIZE you have the PROBLEM, so that you will stop.....

if you continue as you get older it will be permanently damaged and it will not recover.........

and then you will be on here and there will not be a single answer that will work for you......

Please help me with my HAIR!!!!!?

First off,go to the salon and get all of your split ends trimmed off. Then take some baking soda and water and mix it together n d put on your hair and leave it for a few minutes. This gets rid of the nasty funky product buildup on your hair. The use some appl cider vinegar and some water and put it in a sandwich bag.cut the tip off of the bag,and distribute it throughout your hair. Leave for a good while. Then buy some K-pack Reconstructor and use their whole system for damaged hair. Hold off on heat and try to reduce the use of flat irons, blow dryers, curling irons, etc. If you continue this routine, you will have healthy hair again!! And take prenatal vitamines! Excellent for hair growth and extra sheen and shine!!

Please help me with my HAIR!!!!!?

I've had this same problem! I over dies my hair and straightined it to much and it would just fall out and break off super bad!! My hair stylist told me to buy some Joyco K-pack and it works wonders!! I also like the dove therapy products! I use those and then a hot oil treatment once a week and left it alone for a while and dies it back to my natural color and it's starting to get healthier! I hope this helps!

Why am I losing my hair ? at age 16 ?

I am asking this question for my neice !! She seems to beleive she is losing her hair .. Says it is thinning out .losing it in the shower . (( She had long thick beautiful hair )) Its still long .

Why am I losing my hair ? at age 16 ?

i have long thick hair i'm thirteen and mine started to fall out but it may be your hormones

Why am I losing my hair ? at age 16 ?

bulemia?

Why am I losing my hair ? at age 16 ?

i think she has to cut it then it'll stop falling.

Why am I losing my hair ? at age 16 ?

have her try Nioxin and vitamins for hair at GNC

Why am I losing my hair ? at age 16 ?

if u do drugs and stuff that can do it.

Why am I losing my hair ? at age 16 ?

hormones changing

Why am I losing my hair ? at age 16 ?

so she isnt losing her hair after all. she's lost her mind most probably..

Why am I losing my hair ? at age 16 ?

has she been dying her hair or chemically treating it in anyway? that could be the problem...

Why am I losing my hair ? at age 16 ?

It could be related to stress! Have her talk to her doctors

Why am I losing my hair ? at age 16 ?

Is she taking birth control? It happened to me when I was taking them.

Why am I losing my hair ? at age 16 ?

umm either you stratin/curl etc. your hair to much or you bleached it

i suggest garnia fruites shampoo

Why am I losing my hair ? at age 16 ?

People shed hair certain times a year (or so my hair dresser says). Also, stress can make it fall out too. I remember being 16, it was no picnic. Maybe she's stressed out by peer pressure, etc.

Why am I losing my hair ? at age 16 ?

It might be genetic if any one else in her extended family has the same problem..

Why am I losing my hair ? at age 16 ?

if she has long thick hair then it is normal for hair to come out, we all loose hair but the longer n thicker the more noticable, i thot the same thing til i talked to the lady who fixed my hair, but i also have a friend who did end up losing all her hair. due to stress, it has come back but if your neice is losing clumps of hair at a time and it is noticable to all she needs to see a doc. otherwise she can relax, the hair we lose we replace.

Why am I losing my hair ? at age 16 ?

Could be many things, such as stress, poor eating habits, body low in vitamins and minerals, genetics.....

And the list goes on.......

Try taking a pre-natal vitamin each morning, It cannot hurt you. Also try Biotin, you can get it from GNC, its cheap and focuses on hair growth.

These are two cheap and easy ways to nourish your hair, as well make sure you eat 3 times a day, half healthy foods, and eliminate stress as much as you can. Sleep right also........8 hrs.

Use a good shampoo.........something natural from GNC or Long and Strong by Garnier.. and steer clear of hot water, hard water, hot hot blowdryers and straightening irons.....

Why am I losing my hair ? at age 16 ?

It depends on how much hair she's losing. If it's just a few strands, then nothing is wrong. Typically, you lose quite a few strands of hair a day. When you wash your hair, you're removing the hair follicles that have been pushed out by new growth, basically. If it is more like clumps or wads of hair, then it could be due to a number of things that can be solved. If she keeps insisting, perhaps she should see a doctor.

Why am I losing my hair ? at age 16 ?

Thinning hair at that age very well could be caused by anorexia or bulimia. The source below lists it as one of the warning signs, as well as many other websites.

Why am I losing my hair ? at age 16 ?

look its a cycle of life it's not falling out it's just shedding my hair sheds everybody sheds dont worry bout it just style and go by ure biznezz and remember ure beautiful no mater wat they say now tell ure neice wat i say remeber tel ure neice wat i say even if u dont like i because she might like the words i expressed

Why am I losing my hair ? at age 16 ?

could be stress...see what might be bothering her.

Why am I losing my hair ? at age 16 ?

The shampoo and conditioner for like brunettes or blondes or red heads or whatever makes your hair shead.

Why am I losing my hair ? at age 16 ?

STOP using regular shampoos from stores especially if you have THIN hair. USE Nioxin shampoo and Aveda shampoo NIOXIN shampoo is very good because it helps STOP thinning of hair and AVEDA can make your hair THICKER Aveda is shampoo made from South America its very good you can get it at the Mall, salons

Why am I losing my hair ? at age 16 ?

maybe she has treated it too harshly with chemicals in different shampoos, conditioners, oils etc.

Why am I losing my hair ? at age 16 ?

could be stress

Why am I losing my hair ? at age 16 ?

THE ONE REASON I CAN THINK OF IS STRESS

Why am I losing my hair ? at age 16 ?

There can obviously be many reasons, but there is one condition I know about called alopecia. It is not know how alopecia developes in the body but what the condition does is it causes you infection fighting cells to attack your hair follicles believing them to be disease. It usually causes patches to fall out, but it can be in clumps as well. Here is a link for you with more info about causes.

http://health.discovery.com/encyclopedia...

Why am I losing my hair ? at age 16 ?

You would be surprised at how much hair a person loses a day on an average.... and that's normal.... But if she is coloring it in any way she will lose more... also stress can cause it....hormone change, etc..... cutting it makes no difference.....she's young so most likely it's nothing wrong.....Have her take vitamin supplements and if it seems to get worse, go to a doctor......If she is coloring her hair have her deep condition or stop coloring.......It might be just breaking off..... Good Luck......

Why am I losing my hair ? at age 16 ?

stress?

Why am I losing my hair ? at age 16 ?

STRESS!!!

Why am I losing my hair ? at age 16 ?

maybe cancer or stress

Why am I losing my hair ? at age 16 ?

Bad diet?

Why am I losing my hair ? at age 16 ?

Well if you have long hair you need to trim them. Or use condition.Dont tie your hair too hard.

Does hair loss due to stress ever re-grow?

last august my husband fell, went into a coma for 3 1/2 weeks, and ultimately died. during his coma and for about a month after his death i lost quite a bit of hair, i believe it was due to the stress i was going through during this tragic time.

Does hair loss due to stress ever re-grow?

It MIGHT regrow but there is a small chance that it won't...

I'm sorry you had such hard times... *HUG*

Good luck.

Does hair loss due to stress ever re-grow?

Soo Sorry To Hear About Your Loss Sweetie,Yeah Its Def Possible.

Does hair loss due to stress ever re-grow?

The ultimate truth is that for hair to grow longer, we have to eat healthy, exercise adequately, reduce stress and most important sleep well. Include B-complex, B6, and vitamin C, E to make up for any deficiencies. To Know more about your hair http://tipsfromruby-hairgrow.blogspot.co... will help you.

Does hair loss due to stress ever re-grow?

That's awful, I'm so sorry for your loss. Definitely periods of stress can cause hair loss (or so my hairdresser has told me anyway). I can't tell you if it will regrow or not. Maybe you should try a hair loss supplement or something to help it. I've heard that Provillus for women is good. There's a mention of the product on this website http://www.reversinghairloss.net - Provillus do separate products for men and women
