Hot oil treatment for hair?

My hair is naturally straight, somewhat oily %26amp; baby fine. I am considering getting a perm.

Years ago, when I got perms my hair wouldn't appear dry ~ but would lose the perm quickly. Then I discovered St.Ives Hot Oil Treatment for hair ~ it would bring back all of my perm %26amp; I would use them about once a week.

Well, St.Ives apparently no longer makes this product. The only hot oil I can find at a drugstore is V05, which I really don't like. Does anyone have any advice? Suggestions?

Are there other hot oil treatments available? My may concern is that I don't want something that will weigh my hair down. Because it is so thin %26amp; tends to be oily, I can't put a leave-in product on it. Hot oils work great since they get washed out.

if ur hair is naturally straight than you are some lucky person! =o

ha, i have curly and i always wish to have straight.

I think you shouldn't use the hot oil treatment a lot, but just once or twice.

I';ve heard it gives excellent results. My sister tried it once, and it was smooth, silky and didn't look burnt. It helps with the smell too for some reason =]

Good Luck ;)
