Perfect hair that never damages?!?

My friend has perfect hair! She highlighted it, she curled it with a curling iron, everything, and its still the silkiest hair in the world! But when my hair is highlighted, its rough, when i curl it, it loses its moisture and becomes dry. How do I get hair like hers?!?!?!?!

her hair souunds like mine. I've gotten my hair highlighted more than 10 times and it's still smooth.

She has naturally healthy hair. No hair product could give results like that.

Edit: Well, yeah, my hair used to be soft too, but that's all young children. Their skin is soft, too, but it doesn't stay like that forever. Genes and exposure kick in and if you have dry, frizzy hair, it's because it's a family trait, like my hair.

shes just lucky , you can try anything and it wout happen :( some people just get that luck

yep its just natural. mine's like that too. ask her what shampoo she uses and try it out though, worth a shot. conditioner too. if highlighting gives your hair a new texture, its not being done right find a new hairdresser

Having naturally healthy/good hair is probably part of it. Ask her how she takes care of it, but everyones hair is different. Using a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner helps and also getting it cut often helps keep it healthy. =)

What I do is 1/2 avacado and 1/2 banana whipped up and then left in hair with shower cap for 15 up to 1 hour then rinse and shampoo and condition really well and tada! (I do this once a week.) I also add a few drops of jojoba oil and vitamin E to my conditioner thruout the week. ( I use burts bees "shine" shampoo and conditioner. www.burtsbees.com)

Hope this helps!!!!
